"Funerària Empordanesa and Serveis Funeraris Integrals sign agreement to operate together in Alt Empordà

Funerària Empordanesa, a funeral service company based in Figueres, has signed an agreement with Serveis Funeraris Integrals (SFI), a leader in managing funeral services and cemeteries in the province of Barcelona, to operate together in the Alt Empordà area.

With a market share of around 30%, Funerària Empordanesa carried out 300 services in 2009, demonstrating its consolidation in the Girona region. Since its inception, the company has been committed to providing personalized services tailored to the needs of today’s society.

According to Francesc Punsí, founder of Funerària Empordanesa, “the agreement with SFI reaffirms us as a reference funeral company in the Alt Empordà, allows us to continue improving the quality of service and facilities, and validates our company philosophy.”

Founded in 1991 with the goal of offering funeral services in the Alt Empordà, Funerària Empordanesa operates a funeral home in Figueres, established in 1997, which includes four viewing rooms, a ceremony room, a crematorium, and offices. Since its inception, the Figueres funeral home has experienced consistent growth in the number of services provided, thanks to the quality of service offered to the families who have trusted it.

Funerària Empordanesa serves the entire Alt Empordà region, primarily in the towns of Figueres, Roses, Llançà, and Vilajuïga, and has a team of eight employees.
