Àltima strengthens its presence in Cubelles and Cunit with a new funeral home

Cunit, October 17, 2014. – This morning, the funeral services company Àltima inaugurated the Cubelles-Cunit Funeral Home, the first facility of its kind to be launched in these municipalities. Àltima, which owns and operates the new funeral home, has invested €236,000 in the project.

During the inauguration, Josep Ventura, Director of Funeral Services at Àltima, stated that “the citizens of Cubelles and Cunit now have a new, local, functional, and modern funeral facility, marking a step forward in improving the provision of funeral services in both municipalities.”

Located at Avinguda Garraf 8B, Local 13 (in the Les Salines industrial park) in Cubelles, near the municipality of Cunit, the building offers all its services on the ground floor, covering 280 m². It includes a reception area and a family consultation office, a 53 m² viewing room—with separate areas for the family and the casket, private bathroom, and wardrobe—and a multi-faith chapel for 72 seated people. In the new Cubelles-Cunit center, Àltima has prioritized the use of natural light as well as acoustic and thermal insulation elements, which not only ensure a warmer and more welcoming space but also contribute to energy savings. The facility includes a new free outdoor parking area and free Wi-Fi service.

The new Cubelles-Cunit Funeral Home is the third one by Àltima in the region, where the company also manages the facilities in Vilanova i la Geltrú and Sitges, the latter with crematory services. Additionally, it directly manages four local cemeteries: Vilanova, Sant Sebastià and Les Pruelles in Sitges, and Sant Pere de Ribes.

Two Open House Events

Coinciding with the opening of the Cubelles-Cunit Funeral Home, two open house events will be held on October 17 and 18 from 10 AM to 8 PM, allowing anyone interested to visit the new funeral facility.
