Ripoll (Girona), March 20, 2018 – The funeral services company Àltima is organizing a talk in Ripoll titled "Protocol for Handling a Death," presented by Dr. Jaime Pérez Esquerdo, a specialist in Legal and Forensic Medicine. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 20 at 1:30 PM at the Hotel Solana del Ter in the city of Ripoll.
"Protocol for Handling a Death" aims to share knowledge and perspectives with social and healthcare professionals from various entities, organizations, and health centers in the Ripollès region. This includes Campdevànol Hospital, the Primary Care Area (ABS), the Medical Emergency Services (SEM), the Court of First Instance and Instruction of Ripoll, the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Girona, the Mossos d'Esquadra, and several local nursing homes, among others. The talk will also cover the death certificate and provide guidelines on how to correctly complete the official document certifying a person's death.
