Àltima's new funeral facilities in Lavern celebrate an open house event

The mayor of Subirats, Pere Pons, and the rector of the Parish Church of Sant Pere de Lavern, Albert Ruiz, attended the open house of Àltima's new funeral facility in Subirats (Alt Penedès) this morning. The new facilities, located at Plaça de l’Església s/n in Lavern, were also attended by Josep Ventura, General Director of Funeral Services at Àltima, the group managing the facility, along with other local authorities and organizations.

The new funeral parlor in Lavern began operations last May and serves the residents of Subirats, bringing funeral services closer to families dealing with a bereavement and eliminating the need for travel to other towns. The proximity to the Parish Church of Sant Pere de Lavern and the cemetery also allows the transition from the wake to the farewell ceremony and burial to be done on foot. The facilities are well connected to major communication routes and are just ten minutes from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.
