Gavà, October 16, 2019 – Áltima, a leading company in the management of funeral services, funeral homes, crematories, and cemeteries, has renovated the facilities of the Castelldefels-Gavà Funeral Home. The renovation primarily involved the remodeling and expansion of the four viewing rooms, aiming to ensure a more comfortable, convenient space tailored to the needs of families undergoing a bereavement process.

The work at Áltima's Castelldefels-Gavà center focused on a comprehensive overhaul of the four viewing rooms in the funeral home. The existing space has been significantly expanded, adding a private bathroom and a cloakroom to each room, as well as natural light. Notably, Room 1 has been enlarged to twice the size of the other three rooms, featuring specific vending equipment, a refrigerated room for viewing the deceased, and access to a private outdoor space. The renovations have resulted in nearly 100 square meters of additional constructed area, bringing the total to 411.75 square meters.

The renovation of the Castelldefels-Gavà Funeral Home took one year and was overseen by Blai Pérez and Jordi Ramos from BJASS Arquitectes, based in Viladecans. Áltima invested 900,000 euros in the renovation.
