Áltima presents ‘Inspire Life’, a series of talks with experts from the worlds of sports, emotions, and the environment

Inspira la vida

Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona), October 5, 2021 - Àltima begins today the broadcast of the "Inspira la vida" series, a collection of conversations with prominent figures from fields such as sports, psychology, pedagogy, and the environment, aimed at learning to live with greater awareness and fulfillment. There will be a total of four interviews aired this fall on Àltima's social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Filmed at the Roques Blanques County Cemetery, within the Collserola Natural Park, the "Inspira la vida" conversations by Àltima “aim to share and bring closer life experiences, knowledge, recommendations, and emotional support tools to help learn to appreciate life, overcome adversity, and achieve challenges,” says Josep Ventura, General Director of Àltima Funeral Services. “Additionally, we want to help combat existing prejudices and taboos surrounding death, not only through the insights shared by the professionals featured in these conversations but also by approaching spaces like cemeteries from a new, more personal, serene, and friendly perspective.”

Rally driver Albert Llovera: First "Inspira la vida" Conversation

"The life must be appreciated" is the title of the interview that opens the "Inspira la vida" series by Àltima, featuring Albert Llovera, the first rally driver to compete with a disability. Llovera has been a quadriplegic since 1985, when he suffered a severe accident during a skiing championship in Sarajevo. Since then, he has competed in basketball, motor sports, become a father, written a book, starred in a documentary, and owns an orthopedics business in Andorra.

The upcoming "Inspira la vida" conversations will cover topics such as post-traumatic growth, led by trauma expert psychologist Begoña Odriozola; emotional education, analyzed by pedagogue and author Eva Bach; and awareness and appreciation of the natural environment, with environmental scientist and geographer Martí Boada.
