Àltima expands its presence in the metropolitan area of Barcelona with the opening of the new L'Hospitalet Ronda Funeral Home
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, December 3, 2014.
This morning marked the inauguration of the new L'Hospitalet Ronda Funeral Home, the second facility that the funeral group Àltima has launched in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The event was attended by Núria Marín, the city’s mayor; Josep Ventura, General Director of Àltima Funeral Services; and Josep Ribas from Ribas & Ribas Architects, the firm that designed the building.
Located at Avenida de Ramon Frontera 11, between exit 14 of the Ronda de Dalt and Avenida Josep Tarradellas, in the La Remunta area, the L'Hospitalet Ronda Funeral Home offers good connections with L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and nearby municipalities. During this morning’s event, L'Hospitalet's mayor, Núria Marín, stated that “L'Hospitalet is a city that progresses to provide quality services to its population and new economic activities that offer new opportunities to our residents.” She highlighted that “La Remunta is a sector with a privileged location, in the Centre neighborhood of the city, next to the Ronda de Dalt, an ideal spot for a service like the L'Hospitalet Ronda Funeral Home.” Marín also noted that “the development of this sector is nearing completion: the residences on Avenida Josep Tarradellas will welcome their first tenants this week, construction of the new nursery school is underway, and the second phase of urbanization will soon be completed.”
On the other hand, during the visit to the new facility, Josep Ventura, Director of Àltima Funeral Services, explained that “through this new, modern, highly functional funeral home, perfectly integrated into the city, we ensure the provision of top-quality funeral services in L'Hospitalet and strengthen our proximity to its residents, taking into account criteria such as the experience and professionalism of the team 365 days a year. It is a facility tailored to the needs of today’s society.”
With the L'Hospitalet Ronda Funeral Home, Àltima expands its presence in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, where the funeral group has historically provided service for over 300 years. Since 1996, it has also managed the Gran Via Funeral Home, the first in the city, located in the Bellvitge neighborhood.
