Àltima partners with Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation
The agreement aims to contribute to raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and other dementias through various talks that will be held in the Trinitat Vella neighborhood of Barcelona.
Barcelona, March 16, 2022. – Àltima has signed a collaboration agreement with Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation, an organization that has been working for over 30 years to improve the quality of life for people with any type of dementia. Through this agreement, both entities aim to promote awareness about dementia in the Trinitat Vella neighborhood of Barcelona, as well as provide guidance on the resources available from the foundation for those who directly or indirectly live with individuals experiencing cognitive decline. The agreement was signed by Josep Ventura, General Director of Àltima Funeral Services, and Aurora Santín, General Director of Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation.
To promote awareness about Alzheimer’s and other dementias, Àltima and Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation will organize several talks open to residents of Trinitat Vella, aiming to provide them with information and tools to help cope with cognitive decline.
Present in Barcelona since 2006 through the Tanatori Ronda de Dalt and other citizen service offices, Àltima reaffirms its social and solidarity commitment to the city with this agreement, reflecting its dedication to serving and supporting individuals during one of the most challenging stages of life.
